Lost Then Found Concert Dates

June 28th and July 19th Lost Then Found will be performing at Virginia Beach United Methodist Church at 7PM. This concert is part of a Praise and Worship Workshop. The Side Door Service - Poquoson, VA

Tabernacle UMC is starting a new worship service on Sundays at 11AM beginning June 7, 2009. The Side Door Service features music by "Unshackled" and offers an up-beat, casual, praise-oriented contemporary worship experience. COME AS YOU ARE! VBS at Temple Baptist Church

Temple Baptist Church located at 235 Harpersville Road in Newport News is holding their Vacation Bible School June 22-26. Children age four through the sixth grade are invited to hop on board LifeWay's Boomerang Express and take a train across the Land Down Under! As kids wind their way through Australia, they will discover the vastness of God's love and they will learn that no matter where they go or what they do in life - it all comes back to Jesus. Spiritual Fitness Training Concert Series - Fort Eustis

Volunteer Mentors Needed -

Mentoring works. Kids who have caring adults to help them along the path to adulthood are better able to make and keep friends, finish school, and find jobs. Lutheran Family Services of Virginia, based in Hampton, is in need of volunteer mentors for kids in the foster care and juvenile justice system. Outreach for Christ, Inc. is a ministry committed to reaching the lost and discipling those to whom they minister. There are many aspects to the Outreach for Christ ministry. They have a jail ministry that extends beyond the correctional centers. They provide support and necessities to those coming back into society and their families. Potters House

Potter's House, associated with Virginia Beach United Methodist Church, serves the area's homeless population. They offer financial, food, bike, personal hygiene, and ID assistance twice a week to those in need of these items. The Potter's House resources come from the congregation and other churches, business's and organizations in the area. With the rising cost of utilities and food, coupled with the growth of this program, the ministry is struggling to help those in need. Coffee House Ministry @ Living Waters Christian Fellowship

GriefShare Seminar - Virginia Beach

The Virginia Beach Community Chapel, 1261 Laskin Road in Virginia Beaach will host a Grief Share recovery seminar beginning Thursday, September 18th at 6:30 p.m. There will be weekly meetings, each with a video, group discussion, and a workbook for personal study and reflection.
